The Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) is the recognized standard for measuring an individual’s ability to handle the physical demands of being a firefighter. Candidates must have a valid CPAT certificate within 6 months PRIOR to a conditional job offer. Please see tentative timeline for when conditional offers are projected to occur.
